Mean Arterial Pressure Calc

This value, called the mean arterial pressure (or map), can easily be found with the equation map = (2 (dbp) + sbp)/3, where dbp = diastolic pressure and sbp = systolic pressure. Note that map is based largely on dbp because most of the cardiac cycle is spent in diastole.
